why the butterfly?

​A butterfly represents so many things.  Here are a few of the reasons that we feel that the butterfly represents our residents at Destiny’s Girls Home.  
They are survivors - surviving against all odds.  
They have endured unbelievable circumstances.

They now have the hope of a transformed life just like the   

butterflies that transform from a cocoon into a thing of beauty and grace.
